SCADA (Elect.) Technician

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Investigate reported faults and breakdowns in equipment, instruments, and facilities. Conducts preventive & corrective maintenance. Perform routine checks, backups & restoration and Preventive Maintenance in NCC/DCC System. Supervises the identification of faults in equipment, instruments, and facilities Maintains accurate record of equipment condition and related history Assist the supervisor in preparation of all data and reports for condition monitoring. Provide technical support to control room operators. Maintain compliance with cybersecurity and safety guidelines. Document incidents, changes and system updates. Desired Candidate Profile General Requirements: Basic knowledge of SCADA systems and power system operations (generation, transmission, distribution). Familiarity with GE SCADA system is an advantage. Understanding of common communication protocols. Awareness of cybersecurity practices OT/ICS environments. Proficiency in English (spoken & written); Arabic is an advantage. Experience in hardware troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills. Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications: Technical Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronic / Computer. Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in SCADA system for electrical utilities.
