QA/QC Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Plan, ITPs, and related quality procedures. Lead and manage the QA/QC team and ensure compliance with approved project specifications, drawings, standards, and contractual requirements. Monitor and control the quality of civil, structural, architectural, and associated construction works. Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans, material submittals, and quality documentation. Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams. Manage Inspection Requests (IR/WIR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), NCRs, observations, and corrective actions. Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and compliance reviews. Ensure that construction activities comply with applicable international standards, project specifications, and ISO (9001, 14001, 18001) requirements. Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution. Monitor subcontractor and supplier compliance with project quality requirements. Maintain accurate quality records, reports, inspection documentation, and project close-out dossiers. Provide technical guidance to project teams to improve quality performance and minimize rework. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline; A Master's Degree is preferred; ISO training is required and training as Lead Auditor in any of the 3 ISO standards is expected (9001, 14001, 18001); Advanced knowledge of construction industry best practices, regulatory agency requirements, and construction industry standards. Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, superiors/managers, clients and other external contacts; Is an effective manager among his staff in the organization. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in Arabic language is an additional skill 10 years or more of experience in a senior leadership position particularly in the field of quality control and quality assurance and HSE knowledge.
