Production Engineer HVAC Dampers Louvers Access Doors VCD

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Production Management Plan, organize, and supervise daily manufacturing activities for damper production. Ensure production targets are achieved in line with the production schedule. Monitor machine performance, production efficiency, and output quality. Coordinate with planning, procurement, and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted production. Setup and enforce welding procedures and protocols. Coordination with stores and logistics to ensure adequate material supply to execute jobs in hand. Ensure material is produced and delivered as per the committed timelines. Work with Sr. Operations Er. to set production targets, and provide regular updates on any variances. Ensure all production processes are executed as per customer specifications. Process Optimization Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Optimize workflow, machine utilization, and manpower allocation. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes. Identify process improvement requirements by identifying, design and implementation of Jigs and Fixtures. Quality Assurance Ensure all dampers are manufactured according to technical specifications and quality standards. Set up Production quality protocols. Coordinate with the Quality Control department to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions. Maintain production records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation. Equipment & Maintenance Monitor equipment condition and coordinate preventive maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical or process-related production issues. Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery or production lines. Managing machine maintenance schedules to ensure periodic maintenance, avoid downtime, and upkeep of machines and tools. Planning Material Planning for ordering and use Labour allocation and planning Coordinate material consumption/usage with Sr. Operations Engineer. Delivery Coordination and planning. Team Supervision Supervise and guide production operators, technicians, and line supervisors. Conduct training sessions to improve workforce skills and safety awareness. Ensure discipline, productivity, and safe working practices on the production floor. Handling production workers – day shift and night shift organization and allocations of workers subject to work load. Safety & Compliance Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards within the facility. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable industry regulations. Participate in safety audits and risk assessments. Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Generating Daily Production reports to accurately show jobs in progress, and scheduled jobs. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, downtime, scrap rate, and efficiency. Report operational issues and improvement recommendations to management. Enforce and Implement ISO 9001 procedures and requirements. Maintain and update all ISO related records.
