Requirement: Employment: Direct Position with the client in KSA Qualification: Any relevant IT degree Work Location: Dubai, UAE Experience: Min 8 to 10 years Skills: Oracle Apex Developer Hiring Mode: Min 1 year and extendable Joining Time: ASAP/ within 20 days from the date of acceptance of the offer Job Details: An Oracle APEX Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX), a low-code development platform integrated into the Oracle Database. They bridge the gap between complex business requirements and user-friendly, data-driven applications, often working with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and modern web technologies. Core Roles and Responsibilities Application Development: Build, enhance, and maintain custom web applications using Oracle APEX (e.g., versions 21.x to 24.x+), including Interactive Grids, Reports, and Forms. Backend Engineering: Develop complex business logic using Advanced PL/SQL, including packages, triggers, collections, and stored procedures. Database Management: Design and optimize relational data models, database objects, and SQL queries to ensure high-performance applications. System Integration: Create and secure RESTful services using ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) to integrate APEX applications with Oracle Fusion Applications, E-Business Suite (EBS), or external systems. UI/UX Design: Develop intuitive user interfaces using the APEX Universal Theme, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery. Performance & Security: Perform SQL tuning (Explain Plans/AWR) and implement application security, including authentication and authorization protocols (SSO/OAuth2). SDLC Management: Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including unit testing, troubleshooting, and version control using Git. Key Technical Skills Mandatory: Expert-level Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL. Frontend Technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3. Integration Technologies: REST/SOAP Web Services, ORDS. Preferred/Additional: Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), BI Publisher, and Agile methodologies. Typical Experience & Qualifications Experience: Generally requires 8 to10 years of relevant experience in Oracle APEX development.
