Mobile Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Toogo is looking for a Mobile Developer to help build and maintain our rider and driver applications. You will work on features used daily by thousands of users, including ride booking, live tracking, driver matching, payments, notifications, and in-app communication. We're looking for a developer with 1 to 2 years of experience who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a fast-growing mobility platform. Desired Candidate Profile 1 to 2 years of experience in mobile application development. At least one application published on the App Store and/or Google Play. Ability to work independently and deliver features from development to testing. Good knowledge of Swift. Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI. Familiarity with Storyboards and XIBs. Good knowledge of Java. Understanding of Android Activities, Fragments, and lifecycle. Experience with Retrofit. Experience integrating REST APIs. JSON handling and authentication. Understanding of networking best practices. Experience with Google Maps SDK and/or MapKit. User location, markers, routes, and location-based features. Firebase Cloud Messaging and/or OneSignal. Experience with WebSockets or Socket.IO is a plus. Ability to investigate and resolve application issues. Understanding of interactions between mobile applications and backend services.
