Senior Officer – General Services

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities General Responsibilities Act as the focal point for assigned General Services functions. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors. Budgets, and performance updates. Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and applicable regulations. Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions. Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and cost optimization Contract management Recreation, Activities & Wellbeing Plan and coordinate employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, sports activities, and company events. Manage recreational facilities and coordinate with vendors for activities. Prepare annual activity plans, budgets, and participation reports. Liaise with Human Capital and stakeholders to support employee wellbeing programs. Office Supplies & Space Planning Manage office stationery, consumables, and furniture inventory. Coordinate office allocations, seating plans, workplace moves, and fit-out requests. Support office renovation and space optimization projects. Coordinate procurement requirements and maintain accurate asset records. Security, Parking & Access Control: Coordinate security services, access cards, visitor management, and parking allocation. Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with security procedures. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of relevant experience in General Services, Facilities Management, Workplace Services, or Administration within a corporate environment, preferably in the UAE or GCC. Experience in coordinating multiple workplace services, including office administration, employee wellbeing initiatives, security coordination, space planning, and facility support. Strong knowledge of contract administration, vendor management, and service level agreement (SLA) monitoring. Familiarity with procurement processes, budgeting, and cost control. Good understanding of UAE health, safety, and security regulations applicable to workplace operations. Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating corporate events, employee engagement, and wellbeing programs. Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language skills would be an added advantage. Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. UAE driving license is preferred (if the role requires travel between company locations).
