Cyber Security Specialist
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity controls aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks, protecting our network and cloud environments, and responding to security incidents to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses across on-premises and cloud environments Manage and tune security infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using Splunk and QRadar Lead incident response efforts, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security findings and harden systems Configure and maintain security controls in AWS and Azure cloud environments Prepare and present security reports, metrics, and compliance documentation to stakeholders Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field 5-8 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles Proven expertise with ISO 27001 implementation and audit processes Strong knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework Experience in network security architecture and administration Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools Proficiency in incident response methodologies and playbook development Experience managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management platforms Practical experience with SIEM tools, specifically Splunk and QRadar Demonstrated ability to secure AWS and Azure environments Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CRISC Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools Familiarity with additional compliance standards such as GDPR or PCI DSS Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and container security Experience working in the Middle East or UAE regulatory environment Arabic language proficiency Company Industry Other Department / Functional Area Other Keywords Cyber Security Specialist Get real-time job updates only on our App
