Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Production Planning & Capacity Management o Work closely with Production Control and Project Management teams to ensure realistic production schedules, capacity plans and resource forecasts. o Monitor workshop loading, construction pad utilization, crane utilization, equipment availability and workforce loading. Develop short, medium and long-term capacity plans and recommend investments that improve throughput and profitability. Cost Optimisation and Productivity Enhancement: o Identify areas to increase productivity by exploring cost reductions and process optimization. Maintain cost control by scrutinizing project expenditures to ensure production budgets remain on track. Oversee inventory control procedures to ensure adequate merchandise, mainly consumables, are available for Project execution and in-house stock levels. at reasonable costs and to prevent excess stock from being ordered or held in stores. Actively optimize productivity with KAIZEN, TPM and TQM, increased automation to optimize manpower numbers and manpower cost. Ensure discipline and cost-effective use of resources. Actively contributes to company’s strategic objectives and resources. Operational Excellence o Drive implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, TQM, digital production monitoring systems and automation initiatives where appropriate. o Promote a culture of continuous improvement and challenge inefficient processes that negatively impact productivity, schedule or profitability. Leadership & Succession o Develop the next generation of operational leaders. o Identify, mentor and develop Production Managers, Construction Managers, Workshop Managers and Supervisors. Establish succession plans for all critical operational positions and reduce organizational dependency on key individuals. Employee Performance and Development: o Set and agree on Departmental & individual objectives for all reports, ensuring alignment with Company Balanced Score Card. Actively engage with the Chief Human Resource Officer to Conduct individual performance appraisals, evaluating employees against agreed objectives to reward and recognize good performance, having quarterly feedback sessions and provide Performance Improvement Plans. Provide feedback to develop improvement and development plans, addressing any poor performance in line with Company policy. Regularly review career plans for employees in consultation with HR, focusing on growth and development as a company. Creating a sustainable atmosphere for GPTW 2030 targets. o Lead, inspire and engage the entire team with a motto on performance of the people, by the people, for the people. Be a role model for ethics and integrity on every activity. Reporting and Communication: o Prepare MIS reports on a regular and ad hoc basis, providing timely feedback to the COO and the Board. Adherence to Policies: o Agree to adhere to Company's HSE-related policies and Quality Management Systems, including API Q1, ISO 9001:2015, and any other adopted quality management systems. Commit to Company's strict policies against Forced Labour, Child Labour, Discrimination, and Anti-Slavery, and promptly report any policy breaches to the HR manager. Desired Candidate Profile Graduate with B.E./B. Tech – Mechanical, Industrial 20 Years of Experience in similar kind of industry Minimum 10 years in senior operational leadership roles. Proven experience managing workforces exceeding 1,000 personnel. Extensive heavy fabrication, offshore construction, EPC or industrial manufacturing experience Strong understanding of structural fabrication, piping, welding, modular construction, heavy lifting and load-out operations.
