Tenders Lead - Technical

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on technical knowledge of industrial equipment and tools. The successful candidate must be able to read specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities; understand the client s actual operational requirements; identify suitable equipment; and communicate confidently with manufacturers and suppliers. We are interested in candidates with practical industry experience, sound technical judgment, attention to detail, and genuine curiosity about machinery, equipment, and new technologies. Duties of the Job: Lead the preparation and submission of technical and financial tender offers, ensuring compliance, completeness, accuracy, and competitiveness. Analyze tender specifications and validate technical compliance, ensuring the selection of the most suitable brands and products. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate competitive pricing, delivery lead times, and commercial terms. Coordinate project execution including: ordering, shipment follow-up, delivery planning, installation, and invoicing. Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and manufacturers. Develop and manage tender execution plans, ensuring all deadlines and submission requirements are met. Coordinate internally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Management throughout the tendering process. Respond promptly to tender clarifications, client inquiries, and bidding authority requirements. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project coordination meetings whenever required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree is a Plus). Proven 10 years of relevant practical or technical experience in one or more of the following points: Automotive workshop equipment, CNC machines, machine tools, or machining operations, Packaging and filling machinery, Industrial refrigeration equipment, Maintenance equipment and tools, Measurement, inspection, and testing equipment Ability to understand the client s intended application and identify the most technically suitable product or solution. Experience contacting manufacturers and suppliers to discuss technical requirements, clarify specifications, and obtain suitable offers. Strong analytical, research, communication, and organizational abilities. English language is a must (French is a plus). High level of ethical standards & confidentiality. Experience with AutoCAD; preparing and reading drawings. Attention to detail, particularly when comparing specifications, models, options, accessories, standards, and compliance requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
