Store Accountant & Spare Parts Purchaser

Manage daily store and inventory operations Maintain accurate records of spare parts, materials, consumables, and workshop supplies Receive, inspect, and record incoming parts and materials Issue spare parts and materials against approved job cards or requests Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders when required Source spare parts and consumables from approved suppliers Compare supplier quotations, prices, quality, and availability Negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers when appropriate Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery Verify received items against purchase orders and invoices Maintain accurate purchase, stock, and supplier records Monitor stock movement and investigate discrepancies Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory records Maintain proper documentation for purchases, invoices, and payments Assist with basic accounting and cost-related records for store purchases Monitor spare parts costs and help control unnecessary expenditure Ensure proper storage and organization of all materials Coordinate with workshop supervisors and technicians regarding required parts Track parts issued to specific vehicles or job cards Prepare regular inventory and purchasing reports Support management with cost analysis and purchasing information

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field Automotive spare parts or inventory certification is an advantage Experience Minimum 2–4 years of experience in store management, purchasing, inventory, or accounting Experience in an automotive workshop, service center, or spare parts environment is preferred Experience with automotive spare parts purchasing is highly preferred UAE supplier and market knowledge is an advantage Skills & Competencies Strong inventory and purchasing management skills Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge Good understanding of automotive spare parts and workshop consumables Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Excellent attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical skills Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to identify stock discrepancies and control inventory Proficiency in Excel and accounting/inventory software Experience with ERP systems is an advantage Good communication and coordination skills English communication skills required; Arabic is an advantage Employment Type Full-time
