Accountant

Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and follow up client invoices, supplier payments and account reconciliations Monitor project expenses and allocate costs to the appropriate projects/job orders Assist in tracking material, labor, subcontracting and other project-related costs Prepare monthly financial and management reports Monitor cash flow, collections and payment schedules Reconcile bank, supplier and client accounts Coordinate payroll information, employee advances and related records Maintain proper filing and supporting documentation for all financial transactions Assist management with project costing, budgets and profitability analysis Coordinate with Production, Procurement and Projects departments to ensure accurate cost information Support external auditors and comply with applicable accounting and tax requirements Maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information Requirements University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Minimum 3 5 years of relevant accounting experience Good knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software Experience in manufacturing, contracting, joinery or project-based businesses is a strong advantage Understanding of job costing and project cost allocation is highly preferred Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills in Arabic and English Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines Preferred Experience with inventory and material-cost control Experience with payroll and Lebanese accounting/tax requirements Familiarity with ERP or integrated accounting systems is a plus Knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing operations is a strong plus
