Site Project Engineer

Manage full construction process of Dubai PV plant, including civil foundation, mounting structure installation, PV module laying, AC/DC cabling, inverter & distribution equipment commissioning and grid connection support. Implement construction plan in accordance with drawings and Dubai local standards, control workmanship, workflow and site safety. Independently liaise with Dubai clients, supervisors, main contractors and third-party inspectors with full English communication. Handle technical clarification, variation orders, site claims, inspection submission and acceptance. Familiar with Dubai site safety access and inspection procedure, ensure works comply with UAE engineering standards and DEWA PV grid code. Control construction schedule, prepare weekly/monthly construction plans, identify schedule deviations and corrective actions. Implement site quality control, conduct inspection of concealed works and self-check, archive full project documents. Enforce local safety rules, mitigate site hazards and prevent safety incidents. Independently resolve unexpected on-site technical issues including site adaptation, foundation adjustment, installation tolerance and cable routing optimization, propose practical technical solutions tailored to Dubai site conditions to keep project on track. Compile site records, photos, English technical reports and acceptance logs. Report progress, risks and issues to China headquarters regularly, support interim acceptance, final acceptance and project handover. Coordinate local construction crews and foreign workers, deliver technical briefing and on-site management, adapt to construction rhythm of Dubai job sites. Desired Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher (candidates with an associate degree may be considered if exceptionally qualified) in Electrical Engineering, New Energy, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics, or related engineering disciplines. Work

Experience

5+ years of relevant experience; local UAE construction site experience is preferred (familiarity with UAE site environments, communication protocols with supervisors, local inspection submission procedures, and safety management workflows). 3+ years of on-site engineering experience in the PV industry, with full-cycle involvement in the construction and delivery of centralized or distributed PV projects; experience with Dubai PV projects and DEWA grid-connection coordination is a plus.
