Site Engineer-Interior Fitout Industry

Supervise and monitor daily interior fit-out works at the project site. Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and other site teams. Review shop drawings, layouts, material specifications, and other project documents. Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other services with fit-out works. Monitor the progress of work and ensure activities are completed within the agreed schedule. Conduct regular site inspections and identify any technical or quality issues. Ensure proper execution of civil, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, joinery, painting, partition, doors, and other interior works. Take site measurements and verify quantities where required. Coordinate material delivery, site requirements, and availability of manpower and equipment. Check the quality of materials and workmanship before installation. Coordinate with subcontractors and follow up on their daily work progress. Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and site-related documentation. Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager for suitable solutions. Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants and clients when required. Assist in inspections, snagging, rectification, and final handover activities. Monitor and follow up on project snags and ensure timely closure. Maintain proper records of drawings, instructions, inspections, and site activities. Support the Project Manager in achieving project deadlines, quality standards, and client requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out / Construction projects, preferably in the UAE. Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works, materials, and construction methods. Good understanding of architectural and MEP drawings. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical drawings. Good knowledge of site coordination and subcontractor management. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and site management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. UAE driving license is preferred.
