Site Civil Engineer (5 -10 Years UAE Exp.)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities - Site Supervision and Management: * Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities related to the villa renovation project. * Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. * Monitor the progress of work against the project schedule and report any delays or issues promptly. * Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors, subcontractors, and site laborers. * Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and materials. -Technical Support and Problem Solving: * Provide technical clarifications and resolve any site-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. * Liaise with the design team (architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants) to clarify design details and ensure proper implementation on-site. * Identify potential technical problems and propose effective solutions. -Planning and Coordination: * Assist in the development and review of project schedules and work programs. * Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials on-site. * Plan and coordinate site meetings with contractors and stakeholders. * Ensure proper coordination between different trades working on the project. * Quality Control and Assurance: -Implement and enforce the project's quality control plan. * Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Maintain records of inspections, tests, and quality control documentation. - Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): * Ensure strict adherence to the project's HSE plan and all relevant safety regulations. * Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards. * Promote a safe working environment on-site. -Reporting and Documentation: * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports as required. * Maintain accurate site records, including progress photos, material deliveries, and any variations or changes. * Assist in the preparation of snag lists and follow up on their rectification. -Communication and Stakeholder Management: * Maintain effective communication with the project manager, contractors, and other stakeholders. * Represent the company professionally on-site. Desired Candidate Profile * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of proven site engineering experience in UAE. * Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and authority approvals in Dubai/UAE. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and quality control procedures. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite). * Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
