Shipping Coordinator/ Executive

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities 1. Import Operations Receive import booking details from suppliers/customers. Coordinate with freight forwarders and provide approved agent details. Follow up on shipment schedules, shipping documents, and cargo status. Ensure timely coordination for customs clearance and delivery. 2. Export Operations Receive export booking requests from the sales team. Coordinate and ensure smooth shipment movement from the UAE to GCC countries. Ensure compliance with all country-specific regulations, documentation, and shipping requirements for each GCC region. Coordinate with transporters, clearing agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery. Monitor export shipment status and provide updates to relevant teams. 3. Documentation & Coordination Verify and maintain shipping documents including: Commercial Invoice Packing List Bill of Lading / Airway Bill Certificate of Origin Customs documents Maintain accurate shipment records and reports. Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners for smooth operations. Update the shipment summaries to the team leader and management on weekly, monthly basis and submit the reports. Desired Candidate Profile Skills Knowledge of UAE and GCC import/export regulations and requirements. Understanding of customs and shipping documentation Good communication and coordination skills Proficiency in Excel – consolidating the data and cross referring the data. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines Experience 2–4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred. Location UAE – Jebel Ali Industry Preference Retail - Fashion / Trading only Additional Requirement Immediate joining is preferred. As indicated above, the salary range for this position is AED 5,500–6,500. However, there may be some flexibility for a higher package, depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and overall suitability for the role.
