Senior Project Manager (Design) - Infrastructure

GHD is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager Design Management to join our Abu Dhabi team, leading the design delivery of complex projects within the infrastructure and master planning sector. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the design process across Infrastructure and master planning projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards. Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality, timely outputs. Oversee design reviews, approvals, and compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., ADM, ADWEA). Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and change control processes. Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including clients, contractors, and government entities. Support pre-contract and post-contract phases, including technical evaluations and tender documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in design management for Infrastructure and masterplanning preferably in the UAE or GCC region. Proven track record in managing design for high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, or institutional buildings. Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements. PMP certification or equivalent is preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
