Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the execution of Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting works for high-rise, commercial, residential, and industrial MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE/GCC contracting experience, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage site teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all mechanical site activities, including HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems. Ensure execution complies with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal departments for smooth project delivery. Review and implement shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation. Monitor project progress, manpower productivity, materials, and equipment to achieve project milestones. Lead site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution. Plan and coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities. Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, HSE regulations, NFPA, ASHRAE, and local authority requirements. Resolve technical and site-related issues while minimizing delays and project risks. Coordinate procurement activities and verify material availability in line with project schedules. Prepare progress reports, site documentation, and participate in project review meetings. Support project close-out activities, snagging, de-snagging, and final client handover. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 12–16 years of experience in MEP contracting with significant site execution experience. Proven experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, and industrial building projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, and mechanical building services. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera P6, and MS Project (Revit MEP is an advantage). Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under project deadlines. UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
