Senior IBM App Connect Developer - Middleware

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We're hiring a Senior IBM App Connect Developer to design, build, and support enterprise integration solutions connecting a leading Saudi bank's core and peripheral systems. This is a hands-on middleware role requiring deep IBM ACE/IIB expertise and prior banking-sector delivery experience, working onsite in Saudi Arabia on a 6-month (extendable) engagement. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy integration flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Build message flows and ESQL/Java transformations to integrate core banking and peripheral applications Implement integrations over MQ, REST, SOAP, JMS, and file-based protocols Configure and maintain IBM MQ queues, channels, and messaging infrastructure supporting integration flows Ensure integration security, message reliability, and transactional integrity across interfaces Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring of middleware components Diagnose and resolve production integration incidents with timely root-cause analysis Document integration designs, interface specifications, and deployment procedures Must-Have Requirements 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Strong knowledge of ESQL, message flow design, and IBM MQ Proficiency in Java, XML/XSD, REST, and SOAP web services Mandatory prior experience delivering middleware/integration solutions within a bank or financial institution Experience with WebSphere and Linux/Unix environments Strong troubleshooting skills for production integration issues Nice to Have Experience with Apache Kafka or other event-streaming platforms Exposure to API Gateway/API Connect solutions IBM App Connect / Integration Bus certification Desired Candidate Profile 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Strong knowledge of ESQL, message flow design, and IBM MQ Proficiency in Java, XML/XSD, REST, and SOAP web services Mandatory prior experience delivering middleware/integration solutions within a bank or financial institution Experience with WebSphere and Linux/Unix environments Strong troubleshooting skills for production integration issues Experience with Apache Kafka or other event-streaming platforms Exposure to API Gateway/API Connect solutions IBM App Connect / Integration Bus certification Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Senior IBM App Connect Developer - Middleware Get real-time job updates only on our App
