This position maintains the fixed asset register for mining equipment and plant infrastructure, ensuring accurate depreciation and impairment testing. The specialist identifies opportunities to improve financial systems and processes, enhancing efficiency and data integrity across the finance function. The role provides guidance and training to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and professional development within the team. Monthly financial statements are delivered within five working days of month-end with zero material errors. External audit is completed without any material adjustments or significant control deficiencies. Inventory reconciliations show a variance of less than 0.1% between physical counts and book values. Zakat and tax filings are submitted on time with no penalties or interest charges incurred. Month-end close process time is reduced by 15% through process improvements and automation. All balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and reviewed by the Finance Manager each month. Desired Candidate Profile

At least seven years of relevant experience in financial reporting, with significant time in the mining or manufacturing sectors. Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, particularly standards related to inventory, assets, and impairment. Proven track record of managing external audits and regulatory inspections in Saudi Arabia. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data for financial reporting. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis. Excellent command of English, with working knowledge of Arabic for local compliance tasks.
