Senior Designer

Description

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer for a contract opportunity to support a fast-paced creative team. In this role, you will help bring big ideas to life from concept through final production, contribute to the development of campaign branding, and ensure all creative work aligns with established brand standards. You will collaborate closely with creative leadership, digital and performance teams, and marketing stakeholders to develop and deliver compelling design materials across multiple channels.

Location: Hybrid, with ideally 2 days onsite in either Mettawa, IL or Chicago Loop.

Responsibilities

Lead or contribute to design projects from concept through completion, including ideation and execution in collaboration with cross-functional creative partners

Interpret creative briefs and translate business needs into effective visual solutions

Translate strategic objectives into engaging visual concepts aligned with brand goals

Execute strategic, on-brand design across digital, print, motion, paid social, out-of-home, and experiential channels

Develop creative content including brand identity assets, product launch materials, digital ads, presentations, signage, and more

Adapt and optimize designs for different marketing channels, including websites, social media, print, and events

Review projects carefully to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency before delivery

Build a deep understanding of the brand and express its personality effectively across mediums

Maintain consistency across all creative touchpoints and ensure adherence to brand standards

Present creative concepts to stakeholders and clearly communicate design rationale

Requirements

Qualifications

8-10 years of graphic design experience within a design firm, advertising agency, in-house creative department, or freelance business

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint

After Effects experience is a plus

Strong ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to confidently articulate creative ideas in meetings and presentations

Strong understanding of project timing and workload management to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations

Education

Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field
