Senior Accountant

Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger, fixed assets, accruals, and financial transactions across UAE and international entities. Oversee inventory accounting processes, including stock reconciliations, cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and inventory variance reporting in coordination with the operations team. Perform and ensure accuracy of bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and petty cash controls across multiple locations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including financial analysis and variance reporting for management review. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax requirements, and applicable financial regulations across all operating jurisdictions. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while promoting accuracy, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Senior Accountant role. Proven experience in the retail industry, with exposure to managing accounting operations across multiple locations (UAE and international markets). Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, and multi-currency financial reporting and consolidation. Experience with Zoho Accounting/Zoho Books is highly preferred; familiarity with other ERP and accounting systems is acceptable. Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA are highly preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
