Senior Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including financial reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities also include preparing tax returns, managing payroll, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial operations and drive efficiency will be an integral part of the role.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong technical accounting skills, including financial reporting, general ledger management, and reconciliation. Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis to support strategic decision-making. Experience with tax compliance and preparation of tax returns. Knowledge of payroll processes and ensuring accurate and timely execution. Familiarity with accounting software and a high level of proficiency in Excel and other financial tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; prior supervisory experience is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in an on-site setting in Beirut and collaborate with diverse teams.
