Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to oversee the company s accounting operations and financial reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the general ledger, leading month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. The role requires a strong technical accounting background, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with management and various departments across the organization .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations
• Lead and coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS and/or GAAP, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company accounting policies
• Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and relevant financial regulations
• Establish and maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and controls
• Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with company requirements
• Develop, maintain, and monitor effective internal controls and accounting procedures
• Identify potential financial and operational risks and recommend appropriate controls
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Payroll, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
