Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Developing, implementing, and updating project-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans in accordance with Saudi Aramco Safety Standards and company policies. Conducting daily site safety inspections, audits, and walkthroughs across construction and cross-country pipeline activities to identify hazards and enforce compliance. Leading daily pre-task briefings, Toolbox Talks (TBT), and safety orientation sessions for site personnel and subcontractors. Monitoring critical site operations, including lifting activities, hot work, confined space entry, working at heights, excavation, and heavy equipment operations. Issuing, reviewing, and verifying Work Permits (PTW) as required by project protocols and Aramco Safety System requirements. Identifying potential site hazards and safety risks in advance, recommending immediate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensuring close-out. Recording, investigating, and reporting all near-misses, incidents, and accidents; conducting root-cause analysis in coordination with the HSE Manager and Project Manager. Preparing weekly and monthly HSE metrics, incident reports, safety statistics, and audit summaries for submission to project management and Aramco representatives. Coordinating closely with Project Managers, Construction Supervisors, and client representatives to ensure seamless execution without compromising safety standards. Enforcing the strict use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring all tools, machinery, and equipment on site meet required safety certifications. Maintaining emergency response readiness on site, including fire safety protocols, first-aid stations, evacuation plans, and periodic drills. Assisting the Project Management team during external HSE audits, client inspections, and compliance evaluations. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline. Certifications: Valid Saudi Aramco Approval as Safety Supervisor (SAP ID / Approval Card). Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or IOSH). Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Cross-Country Pipeline construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Driving License: Valid Saudi Arabian Driving License is mandatory. Fully conversant with Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual (CSM), Engineering Standards, and Work Permit System (WPR). Strong leadership qualities and executive skills to firmly enforce site safety regulations and stop unsafe work procedures immediately. Excellent organizational capabilities to manage site documentation, inspection logs, and incident reporting systematically. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). High familiarity with hazardous activities typical to pipeline and industrial construction (trenching, radiography, pressure testing, heavy lifts). Teamwork and collaborating abilities to build a strong safety culture among multi-national workforces. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for HSE documentation and reporting.
