Road & Asphalt Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage and supervise road and asphalt construction activities on site. Ensure all works are executed according to project specifications, drawings, and approved methods. Oversee asphalt paving operations, including preparation, laying, compaction, and finishing. Monitor asphalt quality, temperature, density, and compaction to ensure compliance with project standards. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, surveyors, and QA/QC teams. Review project drawings, specifications, and construction schedules. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Identify and resolve technical issues during construction. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Monitor project progress, productivity, and material consumption. Attend client and consultant meetings and provide technical support. Ensure timely completion of project milestones while maintaining quality standards. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in road and asphalt construction projects. Mandatory experience in GCC countries. Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, road construction, and infrastructure works. Familiarity with international and GCC specifications and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD and MS Project. Valid GCC driving license is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with major road and infrastructure contractors. Knowledge of RTA, MOT, or other GCC authority requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
