Recruiter – Blue Collar

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar positions including welders, fabricators, pipe fitters, structural fitters, electricians, painters, riggers, scaffolders, helpers, and other skilled trades. Source candidates through job portals, recruitment agencies, employee referrals, databases, social media, and overseas recruitment partners. Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates based on job requirements and competency. Coordinate trade tests, practical assessments, and interviews with hiring managers and technical teams. Plan and participate in local and overseas recruitment drives to support bulk hiring requirements. Be willing to travel for recruitment campaigns, mass hiring events, and agency visits as required. Coordinate with overseas recruitment agencies and manpower suppliers to ensure timely sourcing and mobilization of candidates. Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with approved recruitment agencies, suppliers, and manpower partners. Evaluate agency performance based on quality of candidates, turnaround time, compliance, and service delivery. Negotiate recruitment timelines and coordinate hiring activities to meet project manpower requirements. Coordinate candidate documentation, medical examinations, visa processing, and mobilization activities. Liaise with HR, PRO, Operations, and project teams to ensure smooth onboarding and deployment of new employees. Maintain an updated recruitment database, talent pipeline, and recruitment tracker for current and future manpower requirements. Ensure timely closure of vacancies in line with business and project schedules. Participate in job fairs, recruitment campaigns, and employer branding initiatives. Prepare recruitment reports, hiring metrics, and manpower status updates for management. Ensure compliance with company recruitment policies, UAE Labour Law, and ethical recruitment practices. Continuously identify new sourcing channels and implement recruitment process improvements to enhance hiring efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of blue-collar recruitment experience within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Construction, Marine, Ship Repair, or Heavy Fabrication industry. Knowledge: Strong understanding of trade categories, overseas recruitment, manpower mobilization, visa processes, and recruitment agency management. Skills: Excellent sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills. Software: Proficient in MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job portals, LinkedIn, and ERP/HR systems.
