QA & UX Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are a leading Gulf-based retail and fintech company. Our flagship product is an Arabic-first consumer mobile app through which customers track and manage real financial value, alongside a SaaS dashboard serving merchants. Our users trust us with their money quality and clarity are not optional. This is a hybrid role owning two things: product quality and user experience. You'll be the quality gate before every mobile release and the person who makes sure our Arabic-first app feels natural, clear, and trustworthy to Arabic-speaking users. You'll work directly with the founding team, test features as they're built, and shape flows before they're implemented. What You'll Do Quality Assurance Own test plans and release checklists for iOS and Android builds (TestFlight, Play Console tracks) and the merchant dashboard Run manual, exploratory, and regression testing before every store submission and OTA update Test API behavior directly (Postman or similar), not just through the UI Cover domain-specific edge cases: OTP/login flows, wallet balance accuracy, financial calculations and unit conversions, and Hijri date logic Rigorously test Arabic RTL layouts, Arabic typography, and digit normalization across devices Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, verify fixes, and track quality over time User Experience Design and refine user flows and wireframes (Figma) for upcoming features Run lightweight usability testing with real users and turn findings into concrete changes Guard consistency of our Arabic copy and tone across the app Champion a clean, minimal UI philosophy clarity over clutter Desired Candidate Profile 2+ years of QA experience on mobile apps, covering both iOS and Android Strong test-case design, exploratory testing instincts, and disciplined bug reporting Hands-on API testing experience (Postman, Insomnia, or similar) Native Arabic with a sharp eye for RTL layout issues and Arabic text rendering Working knowledge of UX fundamentals: user flows, wireframing, usability testing Comfortable working closely with developers in fast, iterative cycles Additional Requirements Mobile test automation (Maestro, Detox, or Appium) and web automation (Playwright) Strong Figma proficiency Experience testing fintech, e-commerce, or other correctness critical products Familiarity with App Store / Google Play review and release processes Understanding of accessibility basic Company Industry ConsultingManagement ConsultingAdvisory Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords QA & UX Engineer Get real-time job updates only on our App
