Automobile Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Liberty Car Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automobile Engineer with strong multi-brand experience to join our workshop team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in vehicle inspection, advanced fault diagnostics, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and workshop quality control across various vehicle makes and models. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests and computer scans using advanced automotive tools on multi-brand vehicles (European, Asian, American). Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults accurately and efficiently. Supervise, guide, and inspect repairs carried out by workshop technicians to ensure high quality and safety standards. Conduct final quality control inspections and test drives to verify repair completion. Prepare clear technical reports on vehicle conditions, required repairs, and spare parts list for Service Advisors. Ensure all repairs meet workshop safety standards and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidelines. Desired Candidate Profile Multi-Brand Experience: Must have 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience working across multiple car brands (European, Asian, and American) in a multi-brand workshop environment. Diagnostic & Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in multi-brand vehicle diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, engine repair, and complex mechanical fault detection. Diagnostic Tools: Hands-on experience operating multi-brand diagnostic scanners and tools (e.g., Launch, Autel, OEM equipment). Quality & Workshop Operations: Ability to perform thorough quality checks, pre-purchase inspections, and technical reporting for service advisors. Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical certification). Location & Availability: Currently residing in the UAE (or ready to relocate to Abu Dhabi) with immediate or short-notice availability.
