QA Tester

Job Title: QA Tester

Location: Fairfield, Ohio

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00

Work Model: Remote – offsite

Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

Perform testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of IT systems and applications.

Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to identify testing requirements and develop test cases.

Execute test cases, document defects, and verify defect fixes to ensure working solutions before deployment.

Support continuous improvement of testing strategies, processes, and tools to enhance software quality.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to team efforts to deliver high-quality releases.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing within a technology environment.

Strong knowledge of testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Experience with SQL and API Testing

Experience with automated testing tools(Selenium, etc) is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively remotely.

Proficiency in understanding technical specifications and documentation.

Property and Casualty Insurance/Commercial Lines experience required
