Pre-Sales Engineer (Servers & Storage)

Gather and analyze customer requirements and design appropriate server, storage, and data backup solutions. Prepare BOMs, sizing, and configurations using vendor configuration and assessment tools. Write technical proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs and tenders, and prepare compliance sheets. Deliver technical presentations, demos, and PoCs to customers (remotely and during on-site visits to KSA). Work with distributors and vendor channel teams on deal registration and special pricing. Support the sales team in customer meetings as the technical authority. Own the technical pre-sales cycle for data center infrastructure — enterprise servers, storage, and data backup solutions, with a focus on Dell Technologies & HPE portfolios. Desired Candidate Profile 3-5 years of pre-sales / solutions engineering experience at a system integrator or IT solutions provider, focused on data center hardware. Strong hands-on knowledge of Dell Technologies or HPE solutions — servers, storage, and backup. Good understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backup solutions, SAN/NAS, and RAID concepts. Dell or HPE certifications are a strong plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Excellent presentation and proposal-writing skills in English and Arabic. Willingness to travel periodically to Saudi Arabia.
