Officer- Procurement & Contracts in Abu Dhabi

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery. Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records. Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc. Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts. New Vendor development for critical materials Monitor procurement budgets and spending. Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing. Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews. Ensure supplier compliance with company standards and contracts. Review and approve purchase orders and procurement documentation. Handling and managing all vendor payments in co-ordination with user department and accounts Reduce Cash purchases. Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis Manage and create material master data in SAP COUPA Implementation as per the organization procurement policy. Operating Environment: The job holder is responsible for shaping the future direction of the procurement function. The job holder is expected to spend time beyond the normal working hours since the job deals with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Decision Making: The jobholder is expected to implement plans, contribute to the development of departmental level strategies, and lead their implementation. The jobholder is responsible for directing the procurement department and leading the development of performance indicators and standards for the division in line with company objectives. Key decisions having significant impact on the company are referred to the CEO – Ducast for approval before implementation. The jobholder exercises financial authority as per the level established in the financial authority matrix within Ducast.

Qualification Minimum: Master’s degree or equivalent with specialization in procurement fields Preferred: MBA in procurement Management Experience Minimum: 10 years’ procurement management experience in manufacturing organizations.
