A bit about us

We are a technology-enabled construction company specializing in prefabricated and modular building solutions. They focus on streamlining design, manufacturing, and construction to deliver projects faster and more efficiently.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to help build something that doesn't exist yet - a repeatable, high-performance electrical platform designed for hyperscale environments. Rather than managing one project at a time, you'll shape a system that will be manufactured, deployed, and improved across multiple large-scale data center programs.

You'll have true ownership of electrical outcomes across the full lifecycle - from early architecture decisions through manufacturing integration and field performance. The organization is investing heavily in productization, standardization, and prefab-driven delivery, giving you the chance to move complexity out of the field and into controlled, scalable processes.

The role offers significant visibility and influence within an integrated Design-Manufacture-Construct model. You'll work cross-functionally with product, platform, supply chain, manufacturing, and construction leaders to drive measurable improvements in reliability, cost, and deployment speed.

This is a builder's environment. The electrical team, operating rhythm, and long-term roadmap are still taking shape, which means strong performers can leave a lasting fingerprint on how hyperscale infrastructure is delivered going forward.

Compensation is structured to reward impact, with performance incentives tied directly to margin improvement, standardization success, and deployment execution. For leaders who want to move beyond project execution and into true product and systems ownership, the growth runway is substantial.

Job Details

Overview

We are seeking a senior electrical leader to own and scale the electrical systems strategy for a rapidly growing hyperscale data center product platform. This role is responsible for transforming complex electrical infrastructure into a repeatable, manufacturable, and high-performance product that can be deployed predictably across mission-critical environments.

This is not a single-project role. The successful candidate will build and mature the electrical operating system that supports a scalable Design-Manufacture-Construct (DMC) delivery model, driving improvements in reliability, cost, and deployment speed with each product release.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Ownership

Own end-to-end electrical scope for the hyperscale product line

Influence electrical architecture, distribution strategy, and redundancy approach

Ensure alignment between product intent, manufacturability, and field performance

Drive standardization and repeatability across deployments

Product & Manufacturing Integration

Push complexity out of field execution into controlled design and prefab environments

Partner with manufacturing engineering to support takt-based production

Influence panelization strategy, grounding systems, lighting/controls, and mission-critical interfaces

Support component standardization and sourcing strategy

Field Deployment & Performance

Ensure clean handoff between product design and construction execution

Provide hands-on leadership during early deployments

Translate field performance data into structured product improvements

Reduce variability and rework over time

Team Leadership

Build and lead a dedicated electrical team (PM, Designer, Manufacturing SME, Construction Lead)

Establish operating rhythms, accountability, and performance expectations

Develop team capability to scale with product growth

Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Platform, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Construction

Commercial & Financial Ownership

Maintain accountability for electrical cost and margin performance

Identify opportunities for cost reduction through standardization and design optimization

Support predictable, margin-positive deployments

Required Qualifications

12+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical systems

Demonstrated ownership of complex electrical scope from design through deployment

Experience managing large electrical budgets and/or margin performance

Strong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, grounding and bonding, and power distribution systems

Hands-on experience with switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and utility coordination

Ability to interpret one-line diagrams, electrical drawings, and specifications

Proven leadership across design, manufacturing integration, and field execution

Education & Credentials

Electrical Engineering degree not required

PE, Master Electrician, or equivalent senior field leadership experience is highly valued

Preferred Qualifications

Data center or other high-reliability environment experience

Exposure to prefabrication, modular construction, or productized delivery models

Experience in takt-based or manufacturing-driven construction environments

Background in mission-critical redundancy architectures

Experience integrating commissioning considerations into design and deployment

Work Environment

Based in Birmingham, AL

Approximately 55-65% onsite presence required

Travel to active deployment sites as needed

Compensation

This is a senior product-level leadership role offering

Competitive base salary

Performance-based annual bonus tied to measurable product outcomes

Long-term incentive opportunity for sustained impact

Significant growth runway aligned to hyperscale portfolio expansion
