Senior Typescript Engineer / Node.JS / React

A rapidly growing sleep technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its engineering organization. The team develops connected hardware, cloud-native software, AI-powered experiences, and large-scale data systems that help consumers optimize recovery and performance. The environment includes distributed systems, microservices, cloud infrastructure, data processing pipelines, and modern backend technologies such as Ruby, Node.JS, and TypeScript.

Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of professional software engineering experience

5+ years focused on backend engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering

Experience building and supporting distributed systems

Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services

Advanced proficiency in at least two of the following: Ruby, Node.JS, TypeScript, etc

Experience with microservices architectures

Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

Desired Skills & Experience Experience supporting large-scale data pipelines

Experience maintaining highly available production systems

Knowledge of observability and monitoring platforms

Experience with DevOps and infrastructure automation

Exposure to machine learning or IoT ecosystems

Experience working within fast-paced product organizations
