Machine Operator (Housekeeping Operation)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities A skilled and safety-conscious professional responsible for the operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of industrial cleaning machinery within the Dubai exhibition center. Housekeeping Division. The Machine Operator plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of DEC facilities, particularly during high-footfall exhibitions and events. This role ensures adherence to operational procedures, health and safety standards, and supports waste management and sustainability efforts through machine efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile Maintain an up-to-date log of all assets (machines, equipment, tools, consumables) used in the DEC Housekeeping division. Ensure accurate documentation of issuance, transfers, and returns. Conduct physical audits monthly and report discrepancies. Perform daily pre-operation inspections and post-use cleaning of assigned machines. Log checklist reports and report faults immediately. Ensure all equipment and tools are stored in compliance with DWTC standards. Maintain MSDS sheets for consumables. Conduct risk checks before deployment of machinery or items. Ensure correct usage of equipment and adherence to SOPs, health and safety protocols, and PPE guidelines during all operations.
