Lead DevOps Engineer - L1

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job purpose: Design and implement the company's production and development environments. Responsible for delivering a scalable; resilient; and cost-effective architecture and building a team of first-class professionals by guiding and leading; planning career paths and tuning the hiring. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Act as key leader and expert on DevOps practices Engage with customers in the adoption and implementation of Cloud and DevOps practices across their organizations Architect and design different cloud solutions on AWS or Azure Design and implement various DevOps practices including CICD; IaC; Logging; Monitoring; and Code Analysis Engage with cross-functional teams in the design; development and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity; environment monitoring and self-healing; and facilitating autonomous delivery teams. Support; troubleshoot and analyze code on all 3 layers of the stack related to infrastructure; middleware; and continuous integration and delivery frameworks. Mentor junior and senior members in the team and support them with their activities Conduct different technical sessions to the employees for facilitating adoption; sharing knowledge; and introducing and aligning on new practices. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+years of experience including: 3+ years of experience in managing Cloud infrastructure and services (AWS or Azure) 3+ years hands experience on managing different Operating Systems 2+ years' experience building CICD pipelines with different automation tools 1+ year working with IaC to deliver end to end cloud infrastructure solutions with Terraform or CDK Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent) and cloud-native services. In depth knowledge of Git; branching strategy; SDLC is a must. Docker and K8s experience is a must Experience in designing; and architecting cloud solutions Preferred Configuration management experience using Ansible Preferred Experience with management Kubernetes clusters (on premise and cloud service) Preferred Experience with Python is a huge plus - Preferred Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork orientation, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
