Junior Accountant

Support the finance team by processing daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with vessel and corporate accounting, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. Key Responsibilities Process supplier invoices and customer receipts. Assist with accounts payable and receivable. Perform bank and account reconciliations. Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Support vessel operating expense accounting. Maintain accounting records and filing systems. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare schedules for audits and tax reporting. Support payroll and expense claim processing. Perform other finance duties as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 0 2 years of accounting experience; internship or maritime exposure is an advantage. Skills Basic knowledge of accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Attention to detail and organisational skills. Good communication and willingness to learn.
