IT Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities IT Operations Plan, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud platforms, telecommunications, and end-user devices. Ensure maximum system availability, performance, reliability, and security. Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications. Oversee system upgrades, software installations, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery. Cybersecurity & Compliance Lead the implementation and maintenance of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance. Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), DFARS cybersecurity requirements, and other applicable standards. Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and security controls. Monitor cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents while coordinating incident response activities. Protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other sensitive organizational information. IT Governance Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation. Maintain System Security Plans (SSP), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M), asset inventories, and compliance records. Support internal, external, and client IT audits. Leadership & Management Lead and supervise IT personnel and external service providers. Manage IT budgets, procurement, software licensing, and technology vendors. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT staff. Prepare IT performance and cybersecurity reports for senior management. User Support Ensure effective delivery of IT support services. Coordinate timely resolution of technical issues affecting business operations. Promote cybersecurity awareness and user training throughout the organization. Demonstrated experience implementing or managing cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as CMMC and NIST SP 800-171. Strong understanding of enterprise networking, cloud computing, Microsoft technologies, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
