Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for developing and implementing HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local and international standards. Support site teams in enforcing safety protocols, conduct regular audits and HSE meetings, and maintain HSE documentation. Coordinate with government authorities, manage ISO (QMS, EMS, IMS) certifications, and lead safety training programs across projects and workshops. Ensure safe operation of equipment, monitor hazardous exposures, and develop emergency and heat stress management plans. Drive the implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS), conduct internal audits, and promote a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement. Preparing Risk assessments and JSA according to the project requirements. Providing assistance and advice on HSE issues to improve company HSE Standards. Maintaining all HSE reports, logs, and documents, ensuring they will be communicated to the management and client (if required). Development of a Training Plan and Training matrix to identify staff training requirements. Providing assistance and advice to the Project team regarding the PPE requirements and safety consumable purchase. Auditing workshop to find any NCR and communicate the report with the workshop team for the close-out and Preventive action. Conduct awareness training for the workshop operatives according to the government requirements. Phoenix HSEMS Development. Development of Phoenix HSE-related requirements that need to meet government requirements. Develop safe operating procedures for Phoenix operations—preventive maintenance plan for all the machinery in the workshop. Development of an emergency preparedness plan for the workshop. Conducting Management Review Meetings and communicating the meeting outcome by circulating MOM to all management staff. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in the mechanical engineering, power plant, oil & gas, or energy industry. Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, Fire Safety, and Emergency First Aid.
