Estimator – Commercial Kitchen Projects

Review RFQs, BOQs, specifications, drawings and project requirements. Perform accurate quantity take offs from drawings using AutoCAD. Prepare detailed cost estimates, costing sheets and quotations for commercial kitchen and stainless steel fabrication projects. Prepare tender submissions and revise quotations based on client clarifications and requirements. Review kitchen equipment schedules, layouts, specifications and relevant MEP drawings. Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, RFIs and variation costings as required. Obtain and compare supplier quotations and technical information for accurate project pricing. Support the sales team with quotations, technical clarifications and suitable equipment recommendations. Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, sales and project teams regarding technical and commercial requirements. Maintain accurate estimation records and ensure quotations and tender submissions are completed within deadlines.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. 2–3 years of experience as an Estimator, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment, stainless-steel fabrication, MEP, HVAC or a related mechanical engineering industry. Commercial kitchen estimation experience will be highly preferred. Experience in reading MEP, kitchen equipment and fabrication drawings. Proficient in AutoCAD for quantity take offs. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, costing sheets and quotation comparisons. Good understanding of BOQ, specifications, tender documentation, quantity take offs and costing. Experience in sales support, technical sales, quotations, client coordination. Strong analytical and numerical skills. High attention to detail and documentation discipline. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines. Employment Type Full-time
