Job Summary

The Process Engineer II is responsible for the development, standardization, quality, and continuous improvement of processes and products. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of production processes, implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, introduction of new products, and to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Designs, implements, and improves manufacturing or production processes to maximize efficiency and quality.

Adheres to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout all process operations.

Diagnoses and resolves process-related problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Applies Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive cost reduction and efficiency gains.

Creates and maintains process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.

Works with design, quality, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure seamless process integration.

Assists in scaling up and validating processes for new products or technologies.

Ensure machinery and tools operate within specified parameters for optimal output.

Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers, hourly team members, and other staff on process changes or best practices.

Collaborates with IT and engineering teams to integrate digital tools

Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Specialized Degree: Engineering

Licenses/Certificates: Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt

Years of Experience: 2-4 years

Field of Expertise: Engineering

Preferred Education & Experience

Licenses/Certificates: Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years

Field of Expertise: Engineering
