Draftsman ALUMINIUM & GLASS

Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics for aluminum and glass structures, ensuring adherence to architectural plans and engineering specifications. Create precise shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for curtain walls, windows, doors, and other aluminum and glass systems. Perform accurate material take-offs and quantity surveys for aluminum extrusions, glass panels, and associated hardware, supporting procurement and cost estimation. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and fabricators to resolve design challenges and ensure project feasibility.

Desired Candidate Profile

Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field. Holds relevant certifications in CAD software or architectural drafting, demonstrating advanced technical proficiency. Has a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience specifically in drafting for aluminum and glass systems within the construction industry. Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant 2D/3D modeling software. Strong knowledge of Aluminum and Glass fabrication and installation drawings. Good knowledge of ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel) detailing and drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and preparation of shop drawings. Ability to understand architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and details. Knowledge of measurements, dimensions, material specifications, and fabrication requirements.
