Cloud Manager

Lead technical presales engagements for cloud, infrastructure, managed services, migration, modernization, and transformation opportunities. Engage directly with customers to understand business requirements, existing environments, technical challenges, security requirements, and future-state objectives. Design end-to-end solutions across Azure, AWS, OCI, hybrid cloud, and on-premises environments. Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures, including compute, storage, networking, security, identity, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and management components. Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, including integration and connectivity between customer data centres and public/private cloud platforms. Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies, including assessment, migration waves, landing zones, workload placement, and transition approaches. Prepare technical proposals, solution documents, architecture diagrams, Bills of Materials (BoM), Statements of Work (SoW), effort estimates, assumptions, dependencies, and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs. Work closely with commercial, sales, procurement, delivery, security, and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and commercially viable. Present proposed architectures and solutions to customer technical teams, CIOs, CTOs, IT leadership, and other senior stakeholders. Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, demonstrations, and technical clarification meetings. Support technical evaluation and selection of cloud providers, OEMs, technology partners, and managed-service solutions. Multi-Cloud & Infrastructure The candidate should have strong architecture and implementation knowledge across: Microsoft Azure Landing Zones, IaaS/PaaS, networking, identity, security, governance, Azure Arc, backup and disaster recovery. Amazon Web Services (AWS) Organizations, Control Tower/Landing Zone, EC2, networking, IAM, security, storage, backup and DR. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Tenancy design, compartments, compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, database/cloud connectivity and DR. On-Premises Infrastructure VMware/virtualization, servers, storage, backup, data-centre technologies, enterprise networking, firewalls, load balancers and related infrastructure. Hybrid cloud connectivity including MPLS, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, FastConnect, VPN and SD-WAN. Identity and access management, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access and privileged access concepts. Infrastructure security, Zero Trust, segmentation, vulnerability management, monitoring and logging. High availability, business continuity and disaster recovery architecture. Cloud governance, security, cost optimization and FinOps principles. IT Operations & Managed Services Previous experience leading or managing enterprise IT Infrastructure and Operations environments. Strong understanding of production operations, monitoring, incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, availability management and service continuity. Experience designing and transitioning solutions into managed-services or operational support models. Good understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes, SLAs, OLAs, service reporting and operational governance. Ability to assess operational risks and ensure that proposed architectures are supportable, resilient and aligned with customer SLAs. Experience coordinating technical teams, OEMs, cloud providers, managed-service partners and third-party vendors. Ability to support major incidents, technical escalations and complex infrastructure troubleshooting when required. Customer & Stakeholder Management Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to establish credibility with both technical and executive stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical solutions in clear business language. Strong presentation and solution storytelling capabilities. Comfortable engaging with C-level executives, IT leadership, architects, security teams and operational teams. Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and priorities simultaneously. Professional certifications in Azure, AWS, OCI, VMware, ITIL, TOGAF or relevant technologies are preferred. Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience, with strong experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies and solution architecture. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, technical presales, cloud architecture or a similar senior technical role. Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Strong experience with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid-cloud environments. Previous experience leading or managing enterprise IT Infrastructure and Operations is highly preferred. Experience designing solutions for large enterprise and/or government customers. Proven experience in customer-facing technical engagements, workshops, presentations and solution discussions. Experience preparing technical responses for RFPs/RFIs, solution proposals, architecture documents, BoMs and SoWs. Experience working with cloud providers, OEMs, system integrators and technology partners. Good understanding of managed services, ITIL/ITSM processes, SLAs and operational governance.
