Assistant Accountant

JOB PURPOSE To assist the financial controller in administering the day-to-day operational transactions of the company s accounts and various expenses KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance of accounting records Collection of invoices from vendors, Distribution to various dept. for approval, checking the accuracy and recording it in the system Record project vouchers in the system after checking various currencies Prepare Bank reconciliation Processing checks and bank transfers Assist in preparing annual accounts Coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance Production of financial information as requested by Manager Familiarize with Commercial companies Law and other related laws of Oman Dealing with other departmental heads for costing issues and providing financial information as required Performing any other applicable tasks and duties, within the realm of knowledge, skills and abilities as may be delegated or assigned by the supervisor Perform other related duties or assignments as directed

Experience

Bachelor s degree in accounting or equivalent 0-2 years in the relevant environment
