Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities for structural steel fabrication, erection, storage tanks, pipe spools, skid packages, and heavy industrial fabrication projects. Monitor the Etimad platform and other government and private procurement channels for relevant tenders, RFQs, and project opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, main contractors, EPC contractors, consultants, developers, and industrial clients across Saudi Arabia. Review tender documents, scopes of work, technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Evaluate opportunities and recommend suitable tenders based on the factory’s technical capabilities, production capacity, commercial viability, and project risks. Coordinate with engineering, estimation, procurement, production, and management teams to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals. Manage tender requirements, clarifications, documentation, submissions, and deadlines to ensure complete and compliant bids. Conduct client visits, presentations, negotiations, and follow-up meetings to develop opportunities and support contract awards. Follow each opportunity from initial identification and prequalification through pricing, tender submission, negotiation, award, and contract signing. Maintain an updated opportunity pipeline and submit regular reports covering project value, current status, probability of success, required actions, and expected award dates. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, tendering, estimation, or technical sales within the Saudi market. Mandatory hands-on experience with the Etimad platform and Saudi government tendering procedures. Direct experience in structural steel, steel fabrication, industrial fabrication, EPC projects, or industrial contracting is essential. Established professional relationships with main contractors, EPC contractors, consultants, government entities, developers, or industrial clients in Saudi Arabia. Proven track record of generating business opportunities, securing projects, or making a measurable contribution to successful contract awards. Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, tender documents, and BOQs. Good understanding of technical proposals, commercial offers, cost estimation, tender compliance, and contract requirements. Strong business development, client acquisition, negotiation, presentation, follow-up, and opportunity-closing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to prepare professional reports and proposals in English and Arabic. A valid driving licence and willingness to attend client meetings, site visits, and business-development activities are preferred. Candidates must currently be based in Saudi Arabia and have strong knowledge of the local industrial and construction market. Fresh graduates and candidates without direct Etimad, Saudi-market, structural-steel, or industrial-fabrication experience will not be considered. Compensation will consist of a competitive salary plus commission, determined after the interview based on the candidate’s experience, professional network, and proven contract achievements.
