Acoustic Engineer

Carry out acoustic design and analysis for building projects across hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors Conduct room acoustics modeling, sound insulation analysis, and noise control assessments Use INSUL software to model and predict sound transmission loss through walls, floors, and building elements Prepare acoustic specifications, reports, and calculations for architects, contractors, and clients Review architectural and MEP drawings to identify potential acoustic issues and recommend solutions Conduct site visits for acoustic measurements, testing, and verification Coordinate with the design team to integrate acoustic requirements into overall building design Support proposal development and technical input for client submissions and RFPs Stay updated on international acoustic standards, codes, and best practices relevant to the UAE and GCC region

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in acoustic consulting or building acoustics, preferably within the UAE or GCC Proficient in INSUL software for sound insulation modeling Familiarity with acoustic simulation and modeling tools such as ODEON, EASE, or CATT-Acoustic is a plus Strong understanding of building codes and acoustic standards (ISO, ASTM, local UAE regulations) Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail Good communication skills to liaise with clients, architects, and internal teams Prior consultancy experience is preferred Employment Type Full-time
