Accountant

Speed Rays Technical Services LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join us. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in UAE accounting practices, VAT, and Corporate Tax, with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping
• Bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Monitor and control company expenses
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks
• Track expenses and revenues, client payments and outstanding balances
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with FTA regulations
• Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax, ensure compliance with local tax regulations
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT requirements
• Assist in payroll processing and WPS-related accounting, where applicable

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in construction subcontracting, such as tile work, plaster, interior fit-out, construction, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations. Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as an Accountant. Bachelor's Degree in Commerce. Knowledge of UAE labour-related financial calculations such as gratuity, leave salary, and payroll is an advantage. Employment Type Full-time
