Job Description Roles & Responsibilities To perform welding activities using FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) process as per approved welding procedures and drawings, ensuring weld quality and structural integrity. Responsible for completing welding work safely while meeting production and quality requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma or ITI ,FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welder ) Welding certified / certificates / test result , responsible for being proficient in the FCAW process to weld various components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Able to understand & perform with Layout, position, align, fit, clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required preparation, configuration and/or position for welding. Welds according to the company s engineering specification on process piping, equipment, and structural steel. Makes weld repairs according to Strobel s engineering specs on piping, valves, towers, tanks, exchangers, compressors, fin fans, furnaces, etc. Demonstrates knowledge of rig piping, machinery and equipment according to OSHA standards. Performs pipefitting work on piping (i.e. screwed and welded pipe). FCAW and/or GMAW welding process in the 3G & 4G position using Carbon Steel plate.
