Wed Designer/ Developer & E-commerce Executive

We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and experienced Web Developer & E-commerce Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong web development and e-commerce expertise, and previous experience working within the textile, fashion, garments, fabrics, or related industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our company websites and web applications, managing our e-commerce platform, and supporting our digital and social media presence. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, solve problems independently, and collaborate effectively with different departments. Key Responsibilities Build, maintain, and improve company websites and web applications. Manage and maintain the company’s e-commerce website and online product catalogue. Upload, update, and organise product information, including descriptions, images, pricing, specifications, and stock availability. Develop new website features and improve existing functionality. Monitor website performance and resolve technical issues, errors, and bugs. Improve website speed, usability, security, stability, and overall customer experience. Manage website updates, backups, plugins, domains, hosting, and production environments. Work with databases, APIs, payment gateways, and third-party integrations. Support online sales activities and ensure the e-commerce platform operates efficiently. Coordinate with sales, marketing, procurement, and management teams to maintain accurate online content. Manage and support the company’s social media platforms. Create, schedule, upload, and update digital and social media content in coordination with the marketing team. Monitor website traffic, online engagement, and e-commerce performance and provide regular reports. Review, maintain, and improve existing website code. Follow best practices and write clean, secure, efficient, and maintainable code. Stay updated with web development, e-commerce, digital marketing, and industry trends. Requirements 3–5 years of proven experience as a Web Developer, E-commerce Executive, Web Administrator, or in a similar role. Previous experience in the textile, fashion, garments, fabrics, or related industry is required. Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WordPress. Experience managing e-commerce websites and online product catalogues. Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of website hosting, domains, SSL certificates, backups, and website deployment. Experience working with databases, APIs, payment gateways, and third-party integrations. Good understanding of website security, SEO, performance optimisation, and responsive design. Experience managing business social media platforms and digital content. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Comfortable collaborating with developers, designers, sales teams, marketing teams, and other departments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience with textile or fashion e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance reporting. Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of digital marketing, online advertising, and social media analytics. Experience with product photography, image optimisation, or online merchandising.
