Water Treatment Plant Operator
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Operate and monitor WTP equipment as per SOPs. Ensure drinking water meets quality specifications and production requirements. Monitor RO systems, filtration units, and process parameters; make necessary operational adjustments. Perform CIP activities and replace filters/cartridges as per schedule. Maintain operational records, logs, and reports accurately. Identify and report equipment issues; support basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Optimize chemical, utility, and raw material usage to minimize waste. Maintain GMP, housekeeping, and HSE standards within the WTP area. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reduce downtime. Desired Candidate Profile High School with a Technical Qualification (Diploma preferred). 3–5 years of experience operating Water Treatment Plants in the bottled water, beverage, or FMCG industry. Hands-on experience with RO systems, CIP, filtration, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge of GMP, Food Safety, HSE, and SCADA (preferred). Good communication, record-keeping, and basic computer skills. Team player with a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Willing to work rotational shifts, including night shifts. Must be comfortable arranging and managing their own accommodation and transportation. Eligible for overtime allowance and performance-based incentives/commission, in addition to the standard company compensation and benefits.
