Water Tank cleaning & Swimming Pool Manager

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Water Tank Cleaning and Swimming Pool division, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, resource allocation and service delivery. Ensure full compliance with applicable UAE and relevant local authority/municipality regulations and requirements relating to swimming pools, potable water tank cleaning, water quality, hygiene, chemical handling and associated activities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure operational procedures, records and service delivery remain compliant. Possess strong technical knowledge of swimming pool systems, including filtration, circulation, pumps, dosing systems, chlorination/disinfection, pH control, backwashing, balancing tanks and associated equipment. Demonstrate strong knowledge of water chemistry, including chlorine/disinfectant levels, pH, alkalinity, hardness, TDS, chemical dosing, water testing and corrective actions. Manage potable water tank cleaning and disinfection activities, including isolation, draining, cleaning, disinfection, flushing, testing/sampling and reinstatement. Ensure safe storage, handling and use of chemicals, including appropriate PPE, SDS/MSDS requirements, risk controls and emergency/spill procedures. Conduct site surveys and independently prepare costings and estimates covering manpower, chemicals, materials, consumables, equipment, transportation, subcontractors and other operational requirements. Understand commercial principles including selling price, overheads, margins, variations and cost control. Manage the division's financial performance, including revenue, expenditure, manpower utilization, material/chemical consumption, gross margin and P&L performance. Review RFQs/RFPs and support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, scopes of work, BOQs/rate cards, assumptions, exclusions and clarifications. Prepare and review operational documentation including SOPs, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, chemical assessments, toolbox talks, checklists and PTW-related documentation. Prepare professional client and management reports, including monthly operational reports, water-quality reports, chemical-consumption reports, inspection reports, service reports, incident reports, RCA/corrective-action reports and performance trackers. Monitor contractual KPIs and SLAs, investigate service failures or complaints, implement corrective actions and ensure timely closure of NCRs and other observations. Manage and develop Supervisors, Technicians and Cleaning personnel, including competency assessments, technical training and performance monitoring. Maintain effective client communication, attend operational meetings and provide technically sound recommendations and solutions. Support business development activities through site surveys, technical solutions, costing and identification of additional opportunities within existing and prospective contracts. Ensure all required equipment, chemicals, consumables, vehicles and manpower are adequately planned and available to meet operational requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in swimming pool operations, water treatment and/or potable water tank cleaning, preferably with UAE/GCC experience. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial position with responsibility for both people and operational delivery. Strong practical knowledge of UAE/local authority requirements applicable to swimming pools and water tank cleaning. Demonstrable knowledge of pool systems, water treatment, water chemistry and chemical management. Proven ability to independently prepare costings, estimates and commercial proposals. Good understanding of P&L, budgeting, cost control and operational profitability. Strong reporting and documentation capabilities. Good knowledge of HSE requirements, RAMS, SOPs and operational compliance. Strong client-facing, communication and team-management skills. Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; CAFM experience would be advantageous. Relevant technical diploma, degree or professional water-treatment/swimming-pool qualification would be preferred. UAE driving licence would be highly desirable. Employment Type Full-time
